Welcome to Cross Roads ISD!

At Cross Roads ISD, we believe a small school can provide big opportunities. As a 2A rural district, we take pride in knowing our students, supporting their individual goals, and providing an educational experience built on high expectations, strong relationships, and a commitment to student success.

Our students have opportunities to excel in academics, athletics, band, FFA, FCCLA, UIL, dual credit, and career and technical education programs and certifications. These successes are made possible by dedicated teachers and staff who believe in our students, a supportive Board of Trustees, involved families, and a community that values education and takes pride in our schools.

Academic excellence is at the heart of what we do. We are especially proud that Cross Roads Junior High was named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education, recognized as an Exemplary High-Performing School. This national distinction reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, families, and community.

Preparing Students for the Future

Cross Roads ISD is committed to ensuring that every student graduates prepared for the next step—whether that is college, a career, the military, or another pathway.

Through our dual-credit program, students have the opportunity to earn significant college credit while still in high school, potentially earning enough hours to complete an associate degree or apply those credits toward a degree at a college or university. Cross Roads ISD currently covers the cost of tuition and books for eligible college courses taken during a student's junior and senior years, providing families with significant savings while giving students a valuable head start on their future.

We also provide opportunities for students to graduate with industry-based certifications and career-ready skills, helping them enter the workforce with knowledge, experience, and credentials that can make an immediate difference.

Excellence Beyond the Classroom

Our students are encouraged to compete, lead, serve, and achieve. Across our campuses, Cross Roads students have earned district championships and advanced to regional, state, and national competition in a variety of academic, athletic, fine arts, and career-focused programs.

Whether students find their passion in UIL academics, agriculture, band, volleyball, football, basketball, track, baseball, softball, golf, cross country, or one of our many other programs, we want every student to find a place to belong, grow, and succeed.
