Welcome to Cross Roads ISD! We are a conservative/progressive rural district. If you are looking for opportunities for your child, CRISD is the place. Our student successes in extracurricular areas such as band, athletics, academics, FCCLA, dual credit, and career certification areas, are a direct result of a dedicated staff with high expectations for their students. Those high expectations begin with a supportive school board and a community that sees the importance of educating their children and providing a great environment for learning.
Our students can graduate with enough college credit hours to earn an Associates Degree or apply the earned hours toward a degree of their choosing at any college or university. The district currently pays the cost of the tuition and books for these college courses during the junior and senior years in high school at Cross Roads. This saves parents thousands of dollars in tuition and other college expenses. Administration and instructional staff set high standards for all of our students and encourage them to be college ready and/or job certified upon graduation. The number of students graduating on the Distinguished Plan far exceeds state averages.
Cross Roads’ campuses strive to be competitive at every level in every program. Our successes include district championships, regional qualifiers, state qualifiers, and national qualifiers in many events such as agriculture related programs, volleyball, football, basketball, track, baseball, softball, golf, band, etc. Our debate program is growing and qualified students for national competition the last two years. Our high school, junior high, and elementary campuses frequently win district titles in academics.
Because of our small class sizes and individual attention given to each student, Cross Roads ISD offers the best in educational opportunities, while emphasizing the importance of a faith centered educational experience. Be a part of high expectations, exciting goals, and student SUCCESS!
