FCCLA Region III President elect Kaden Mattingly
Cross Roads High School, sophomore Kaden Mattingly was elected the FCCLA Region III President this past weekend at the Regional conference in Waco,Texas. As Region III President, one of his roles is to promote the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America organization by visiting and speaking in public forums and meetings. Kaden is looking forward fulfilling his obligations and hopes to speak at meetings such as the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club meetings. 
 
National FCCLA Week will take place February 12 - 16, 2018 and will feature the following themes for each day: FCCLA Promo Day, Careers in Action, Say Thanks, Make an Impact and Unite in Red! This week is an opportunity to get the word out about FCCLA, show spirit and inspire potential new members and supporters.
 
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
 
The FCCLA Mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through: character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
